Anne Arundel–Eastern Shore Youth Resilience & Behavioral Health Access Initiative

A one-year emotional and behavioral health access program for children, adolescents, and families across Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Queen Anne’s County, Talbot County, Caroline County, Dorchester County, and Kent County.

The goal of this initiative is to expand early access to pediatric mental and behavioral health support in a region facing significant provider shortages, long waitlists, transportation barriers, and limited specialty services. Through brief consultations and screenings, youth coping-skills groups, caregiver guidance, care coordination, and referral navigation, Talbot Psychology Alliance will help families identify needs earlier, connect to appropriate care, improve emotional regulation, and reduce the likelihood that concerns escalate into crisis.
